At Fello, your privacy is fundamental to everything we build. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have. Fello is a dating and social app for adults 18 and older.

We collect the information you choose to provide when you create an account and build your profile — such as your display name, age, photos, and preferences. We also collect technical data (device type, app version) needed to operate the service.

2. Location data

Fello uses your approximate location to show you people nearby. You control your location sharing in your device and app settings, and you can hide your distance or browse in incognito mode at any time.

3. Sensitive information

Because Fello serves the LGBTQ+ community, some information may be considered sensitive. We treat it with extra care, never sell it, and only use it to provide the service you have chosen to use.

4. How we use information

We use your information to match you with people nearby, enable chat, keep the community safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Your controls and rights

You can edit or delete your profile, lock private albums, revoke photo access, block or report users, and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the app.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal or safety reasons.
